Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology andLivelihood Education) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the Food Sanitation and safety Practices of Morong National High School Canteen Personnel. The study was conducted in Morong National High School. The respondents were one hundred nine (109) 4th year High School students. The researchers used a set of questionnaire-checklist to determine the Food Sanitation and Safety Practices of Morong National High School. Based on the profile of the respondents, the sanitation practices obtained a weighted mean of 4.24 for personal hygiene, while the average weighted mean is 3.81. Safety awareness obtained average mean of 3.41. Using clean and fresh ingredients obtained a weighted mean of 4.34. Handling of tools and equipment obtained an average mean of 4.05; proper cleaning of equipment obtained a mean of 4.44. The computed F-value of .531, .448 and .036 with respect to different aspect in terms of sex are all lesser than the tabular values of .05 level of significance. The computed F-value of .079, 2.214 and .409 with respect to different aspect in terms of age are lesser than the tabular values of .05 level of significance. For the conclusion, sex and age do not affect the food sanitation and safety practices of Morong National High School Canteen. Sanitation Practices Satety Awareness and Handling of tools and Equipment do not affect the food sanitation and safety practices of Morong National High School Canteen. And the recommendations based on the findings are the Morong National High School Canteen Management should develop its safe and clean practices or procedure related to safety awareness, the Morong National High School Canteen Management should conduct orientation among the canteen personnel for their duties and responsibilities, according to P.D. 856, code of the Philippines, Section 15, Morong National High School Canteen Management should require the canteen personnel to submit a medical certificate every 6 months and according to P.D. 856, Code of the Philippines, Section 14 all food establishments should secure sanitary permit from the Municipal Health Office.
