Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physical Sciences) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was conducted to determine the level of acceptability of the developed instructional kit in Electricity and magnetism as evaluated by the two groups of respondents which were the teachers selected in four (4) DepEd schools and third year Physical Sciences students, school year 2014-2015. Descriptive developmental method was employed in the study. The developed instructional kit in Electricity and Magnetism was evaluated by fifteen (15) Grade 10 DepEd Science teachers and fifteen (15) BSE Physical Science students. To determine how the developed instructional kit in Electricity and Magnetism was developed, qualitative description was used. To test the level of acceptability of the instructional material, weighted mean and standard deviation were used. While in determining the significant difference on the level of acceptability of the developed instructional kit in Electricity and Magnetism, independent t-test was used. The variables of the developed instructional kit in Electricity and magnetism are usability, flexibility, design, and ease of operation were verbally interpreted as Very high acceptable as revealed in the evaluation of the two groups. Based on the study, there is no significant difference on the level of acceptability of the developed instructional kit in Electricity and magnetism as evaluated by the two groups of respondents in terms of Usability, Flexibility and design but there is a significant difference on the level of acceptability of instructional kit in electricity and magnetism as evaluated by the two groups of respondents in terms of Durability and ease of operations. The developed instructional kit in electricity and magnetism can be useful in learning process. It is also flexible wherein it can place anywhere and it is ergomically designed, but the kit is not durable or it can be easily break and there is a difficulty for the teacher and the students in using the kit easily. The study recommended that the developed instructional kit in electricity and magnetism can be used by the grade 10 science teachers in teaching different topics in Electricity and magnetism. Furthermore, test the effectiveness different topics in electricity and magnetism. Furthermore, test the effectiveness of the kit for more sufficient evidence that this can be use as instructional material.
