Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physical Sciences) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was conducted to determine the level of performance of the respondents in different lesson in Physics using the Developed Electricity Generator as Laboratory Apparatus in Teresa National High School, school year 2014-2015. Experimental method was employed in the study which utilized pretest posttest two groups design. The developed Electricity Generator were used in teaching the experimental group and the traditional method was used in teaching without the use of the developed instructional material in the control group. To determine how the Electricity Generator as Laboratory Apparatus was developed, qualitative description was used. To determine the level of performance of the control and experimental group as revealed by the pretest and posttest result in terms of different lessons mean and standard deviation were applied. To determine the significant difference between the performance of the control and experimental group as revealed by the pretest and posttest, dependent t-test was used. to find out the significant difference between the performance of respondents in the control and experimental group as revealed by the posttest result in terms of different lessons in Electricity and Magnetism independent t-test was used. And, to determine the effectiveness of the developed Electricity Generator, mean percentage was used. There is an increase on the level of performance of the respondent in the control and experimental group as revealed in the pretest and posttest in terms of the different lessons in Physics in Grade 9. There is significant difference on the level of performance of control group and experimental group as revealed in the posttest result in terms of the topics Ohm's Law, Circuit, and simple generator and there is no significant difference on the level of performance on the topic electromagnetism in grade 9 students. The developed manipulative instructional materials are valid and can be used effectively in teaching Electricity and Magnetism in grade 9. The researchers recommended that the developed Electricity Generator can be used by the teachers in teaching different topics in Physics. The developed electricity generator can be modified to produce higher voltage for student's better acquisition. Furthermore, parallel study may be conducted giving consideration on other lessons.
