Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop the Improvised Movable A Frame Carrier. Specifically, this study attempted to determine the level of acceptability of the Improvised Movable a Frame Carrier in terms of Functionality, usefulness, safety and maintenance and durability. The study utilized an instrument which is a adopted-modified questionnaire checklist to determine the level of acceptability of the Improvised Movable a Frame Carrier. It is a validated instrument accomplished by the respondents who provided information for the completion of the study. The result were tallied and computed for analysis. There were two groups of respondents who tested the acceptability of the project. The first group consisted of ten (10) experts who had the knowledge, skills and fully understanding on the construction of the improvised movable a frame carrier while other group consisted of twenty (20) second and third year students who are taking up Diploma of Technology and Bachelor of Technology course major in Mechanical Technology at the same University. Qualitative description was used in developing the improvised movable a frame carrier, weighted mean was used in determining the acceptability of the improvised movable a frame carrier and t-test was used in determining its significant difference between the evaluations made by the two groups of respondents. Based on the analysis and interpretation of data, the following are hereby summarized. On the design and construction of the Improvised Movable a Frame Carrier, the researchers were able to design a well detailed assembly drawing, pictorial drawing, and exploded drawing and constructed a Improvised Movable a Frame Carrier out of locally available materials. On the level of acceptability of the project in terms of functionality, the end users perceived as very much accepted with weighted mean of 4.9 and the perceived the device also as very much accepted with a weighted mean of 4.6. In terms of usefulness, the end users perceived the device as very much accepted with weighted mean of 4.8 and the experts perceived the device also as very much accepted with a weighted mean of 4.6. In terms of Safety and Maintenance, the end users perceived the device as very much accepted with weighted mean of 4.8 and the experts perceives the device also as very much accepted with a weighted mean of 4.7. On the significant differences made by the experts and the students in terms of the above variables, it was found out that there is a significant difference between the evaluations made by the end users and the experts on the acceptability of the improvised movable a frame carrier in terms of functionality but there is no significant difference in terms of usefulness, safety and maintenance and durability. Based on the foregoing findings and conclusions the study recommended the assistance must be given to students undergoing similar research or study to defray the high cost of materials needed. In addition, the device should be improved to increase its performance and efficiency.

In addition, the device should be improved to increase its performance and efficiency.
