EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitle "Improvised Hydraulic Press" aimed to develop and construct the improvised Hydraulic Press which can be use in the industrial work perception of the experts and students in terms of Usefulness, Functionality, Safety and Maintenance and Durability. The questionnaire checklist was the major instrument used to gathering needed data. The study was conducted at the University of Rizal System-Morong campus, College of Industrial Technology Automotive Shops during second semester of school year 2013-2014 and first semester of school year 2014-2015. The researchers developed the improvised Hydraulic Press utilizing descriptive and developmental method of research. It was anchored on the Coomb's System Approach and principles on pressure. The respondents of the study were eight 7 (70%) CIT professors and 3 (30%) auto-technician in Automotive Technology. They composed of the experts and forty (20) 100% third and fourth year students who are taking up Diploma of Technology and Bachelor of Technology course Major in Automotive Technology at the same University, Purposive sampling was used by the researchers in selecting respondents since they were engaged and exposed in Automotive Technology and Mechanical Technology. Based from the result of the study the researchers concluded that there was no significant differences on the Improvised Hydraulics Press with respect to perception of the respondents on the level of it's the acceptability in terms of usefulness, functionality, safety and maintenance and durability. Based on the summary findings and conclusions drawn, the recommended that the device should be improved in terms of its accuracy. The device can be re-modeled and should be added with other features aside from pressure testing and measurements. Further research can be done for the improvement of the study in the near future to improve the function of the device and further improve the size of the device by reducing its size and weight finally utilization of the developed instrument must be implemented.
