Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study was mainly concerned with the effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant management facilities in University of Rizal System-Morong during the school year 2014-2015. The researchers found out that the factors age, sex, year level, monthly family income contributed in the effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant management facilities in University of Rizal System-Morong. The respondents were the forty eight (48) third year students and thirty seven (37) fourth year students who experience the effectiveness of the HRM facilities in URS-Morong. The respondents were selected through purposive sampling technique. The condition as curtained in this study the effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant management facilities in University of Rizal System-Morong, were dormitory, practice house, kitchen laboratory, baking laboratory and front office. The study used descriptive type of research utilizing survey questionnaire checklist and interview in the selected respondents to gather the needed data. Statistical tools as weighted mean and one-way analysis (ANOVA) were used to interpret the result of the study. Responses were tallied tabulated and interpreted. From the analysis and interpretation of data, the following findings were found out. The profile of the respondents shows that in terms of age out of eighty five (85) respondents, seventy eight (78) percent was at the age bracket of sixteen (16) to twenty (20) years old. In terms of sex, the female respondents are more than the male respondents with fifty one (51) and thirty four (34) males and in terms of year level the number of respondents was almost third year students with forty eight (48). The effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant management facilities in University of Rizal System-Morong by the respondents showed that with respect to dormitory, practice house, kitchen laboratory, baking laboratory and front office the average weighted mean was 3.44, 3.39, 3.38, 3.33, 3.18 and interpreted as "satisfactorily effective" there was no significant difference on the effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant management facilities in University of Rizal System-Morong by the respondents during their experience with the respect to the above mentioned variables showed that in terms of age, sex, year level and monthly family income thus the null hypothesis failed to reject. Therefore, there is no significant difference on effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant management facilities in University of Rizal System-Morong. Based on the summary of findings the following conclusions were formulated: in terms of age majority of the respondents belong to the 16-20 years old and most of the students were female. Most of the respondents were third year students with monthly family income of 5,001-10,000. There is significant difference on the effectiveness of the hotel and restaurant management facilities with respect to the different aspects, dormitory, practice house, kitchen laboratory, baking laboratory and front office. In the light of the findings and conclusion drawn, the following recommendations were offered that the administration should consider purchasing updated tools and equipment upon the request of the professors and if the budget permits the administration should construct modern laboratory rooms for student's comfort and convenience.
