EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop an Improvised Gear Oil Pump. It determined the usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance, and functionality of the developed Gear Oil Pump It was conducted at the University of Rizal System Morong, Rizal During the school year 2015-2016. Descriptive research was used to gather dat. Researchers made questionnaire checklist was used to evaluate the usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance and functionality of the Improvised Gear Oil Pump. Content validation was employed to validate the instrument. The respondents of this project were ten (10) experts who were automotive faculty and technicians, and twenty (20) end-users who were students from students from automotive technology. The respondents successfully ranked each corresponding items based on the validated criteria as to usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance and functionality. Based from the testing and revision made from the evaluation of the complete project, the developed Improvised Gear Oil Pump was constructed and developed out of locally available materials. On the try-out and revisions, the Improvised Gear Pump was tested. Different troubles found during the operation were discovered. And through try-out and revisions the project attained its functional output and reached some of the equipment objectives. On the level of Acceptability of the project as evaluated by the experts and users in terms usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance and functionality that the device is very much Accepted. Concluded on the summary of findings that there is no significant difference between the evaluation made by the experts and end-users on the acceptability of Improvised Gear Oil Pump in terms of different variables; usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance and functionality. And base from the summary of findings and conclusion, it is recommended that, there should be a further study to be conducted to improve the project.
