EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to design and construct an Improvised Engine Holder out of locally available materials, it performed try-out and revision, evaluated the acceptability of the project in terms of safety and maintenance, usefulness, functionality and durability and tested the significant difference on the evaluation made by the experts and end-user. Based on the testing and revision phase and from the evaluation of the completed project, the Improved Engine Holder was be constructed and developed out of locally available materials. On the try-out and revisions, the Improved Engine Holder was tested, wherein different troubles found during the operation were discovered, and through try-out and revisions, the project attained its functional output and reached some of the equipment objectives. On the level of acceptability of the project, in terms of safety and maintenance, the device as perceived by the end users is extremely safe and easy. In terms of usefulness, functionality and durability, the experts perceived that the device is extremely useful, functional and durable. It was found out that there is no significant difference between the evaluations made by the automotive experts and end users on the acceptability of Improvised Engine Holder in terms of four variables; safety and maintenance, usefulness, functionality and durability.
