EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to design and construct a Four-in-One Drafting Apparatus. Specifically, it aimed to develop the Four-In-One Drafting Apparatus out of locally available materials, perform a try-out and revision of the project, and determine its acceptability in terms of design, durability, functionality and usefulness. The significant difference between the traditional drawing apparatus and the Four-In-One Drafting Apparatus were test through evaluation made by the respondents. This was undertaken at the University of Rizal System, Morong, Rizal by the students of Bachelor of Technology during the school year 2015-2016. Based on the summary of findings, the researchers concluded that the Four-In-One Drafting Apparatus attained its functions based on the objectives of the study. The researchers considered several factors in designing the apparatus, such as availability of potential materials. By seeking the aid of the experts, the researchers successfully finished the construction of the apparatus. Through the development of the project, it was tested for operations wherein different flaws and shortcomings were observed. Several defects were found, and through try-out and revision method, the device reached the functional output and attained its objectives. The acceptability of the developed Four-In-One Drafting Apparatus and the traditional drawing apparatus in terms of design found out to be very satisfactory for both kind of drafting apparatus. Likewise, in terms of durability, it was found out that it is very durable. In terms of usefulness, the Four-in-One Drafting Apparatus was found out to be extremely useful while the traditional drawing apparatus was found out to be useful. Lastly, in terms of functionality, the Four-In-One Drafting Apparatus found out to be extremely functional while the traditional drawing was found out to be functional. The findings revealed that the device is very much accepted as shown on the result of the evaluation. The evaluation of the Four-In-One Driving Apparatus as compared to the Traditional Drawing Apparatus in terms of durability was found out not significant in terms of its design, usefulness & functionality, were found out to be significant. Based on the findings and suggestion of the experts in order to improve, the study, the researchers recommended that further studies should be made in order to improve some of the aspects of the device, most especially the design and durability. In addition, the apparatus should be given financial support for the improvement and accomplishment of the developed project.
