Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Mathematics) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled "Resource Allocation Using Pareto-Optimal" was conducted during the academic year 2016-2017. The main purpose of this study was to estimate the resource allocation in every barangay of municipality of Cardona, Rizal. To start the researcher considered steps such as choosing the title and identifying the problem. The objectives of the study "Resource Allocation Using Pareto-Optimal" is to estimate the resource allocation in every barangay specifically in maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) using Pareto-Optimal. The subject of the study made used of Pareto-Optimal in distributing the maintenance and other expenses (MOOE). The selected data came from the Budget Office in municipality of Cardona, Rizal. The office provided the necessary data and the researchers used it as a guide in implementing this study. Maintenance and other operating expenses (MOOE) is the remaining resources. After the barangays distributed the resource in every service, the remaining resources were distributed to maintenance and other operating expenses and this is where the Pareto-optimal may be applied to distribute the remaining resources. Using Pareto-optimal with a data collected, the researchers were able to compute the value of MOOE are traveling expenses, office supply expenses, water expenses, electricity expenses, membership due and contribution to organization, and repair and maintenance motor vehicle. The equation used in this study was Z = XY. Where Z is the value of expenses and I = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 to specified the expense. X is the percentage and Y is the value of maintenance and other operating expenses. After using the formula the researchers concluded that the MOOE is proportional to its expenses. The higher the value of MOOE the more it can distribute to the expenses. And MOOE is depending on how much the budget or resource remain. This study may help the readers to understand how the resources are allocated in every barangay and to serves as a guide in understanding the system of allocating the resource or budget for transparency purposes.
