Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Mathematics) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled "Mathematical Variation for the Cost of Delivery of Government Good in Ondoy Village" was conducted during the academic year 2015-2016. The purpose of this study was to determine the cost of delivery that the government spent in supplying goods in Ondoy Village. The study utilized the qualitative research method with the given data. This research method helped the researchers to further explain, analyze and interpret the data collected for the study to become deeper and precise. The researchers gathered the data from the City Social Welfare and Development Office of Antipolo City. The subjects of the study were the residents in Ondoy Village. The collection of data came from the City Social Welfare and Development office of Antipolo, City, and the information given were divided into three parts. The first part is for the vehicles, second is for the amount of gas consumption and the third part is for the volume of goods. The researchers formulated words problems and utilized the algebraic expression in getting the actual cost. Algebraic expression is a mathematical phrase that contains ordinary numbers, variables and operators. Using the data collected the researchers were able to compute for the total cost the government spent in delivering goods, for both vehicles and to show the difference for both vehicles spent, with a higher amount of goods delivered the government spent PHP 2400 using the L300 van while spending the total of Php 300 using the tricycle. Also the computation for the projected cost of delivery that the government might spent in the next five (5) years. From the gathered data, the researchers came up with the conclusions that the direct variation method can be applied in projecting or estimating sample data, and the cost pf delivery is noticeably increasing and will increase for the next five (5) years. Furthermore, the researchers recommended to do additional study in projecting the future value of cost of the delivery using the given method above.
