Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Drafting Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to conduct a Multi-Featured Study Table. Specifically, this attempted to evaluate the project in terms of functionality, durability safety and maintainability. Also it aimed to determine the significant difference between the ordinary study table and the Multi-Featured Study Table. This was conducted at the University of Rizal System Morong, Rizal during the school year 2016-2017. The development and descriptive method were used to test the level of acceptability of the Multi-Featured Study Table and the Existing Study Table in terms of functionality, durability, safety and maintainability. The validated questionnaire was given to five professors and fifteen Drafting student from the College of Industrial Technology and fifteen students from the College of Engineering. For the result of the project, it was found that in terms of functionality, the Multi-Featured Study Table was rated as extremely functional, while the Existing Study Table was rated moderately functional. In terms of durability, the Multi-Featured Study Table was rated as extremely durable, while the Existing Study Table was rated as moderately durable. In terms of safety and maintainability, the Multi-Featured Study Table was rated as extremely safe and maintainable, while the existing study table was rated as moderately safe and maintainable. Also, it was found that, there is significant difference between Multi-featured study table and Existing Study table in terms of functionality, durability, and safety and maintainability as evaluated by the respondents. It is therefore concluded that, the production of the multi-featured study table was highly feasible due to the availability of materials to be used because it is mainly made of wood. This project would solve the problem for lack of space in storing things and using several tables needed at a time. Mass production is possible because of the availability of construction materials. Based on the findings and conclusions drawn, the researchers recommended that the table should have casters and handle for convenient transferring. It should have power outlets, Formica on the side table, and LED light on the upper part of the table. It should be used by students, teachers and even office workers as a study and computer table to give an ease in moving and do work efficiently. Also, it may be subjected for evaluation using different group of respondents and using other variables.
