Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the Problems encountered by the Bachelor of Technology students major in Hotel and Restaurant Management in their Supervised Industrial Training. It was conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong Campus during the school year 2015-2016. There were one hundred fifty (150) respondents who answered the questionnaire checklist in terms of emotional, mental, financial, physical and social aspects. There were fifty 1st year students who undergone SIT in Resort, fifty from 2nd year who undergone SIT2 in Restaurant and fifty from 4th year students who undergone SIT 3 in Hotel. The conditions ascertained in this study were the problems encountered by the Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management Students in their Supervised Industrial Training in terms of emotional, mental. Financial, physical and social aspects. The study used descriptive type of research utilizing the survey questionnaire checklist and interview in the selected respondents to gather the needed data. Statistical tools such as weighted mean and one-way analysis (ANOVA) were used to interpret the result of the study. Responses were tallied, tabulated and interpreted. From the analysis and interpretation of data, the following findings were found out. The profile of the respondents. In terms of age, out of one hundred fifty respondents, sixty-one percent were at the age bracket of nineteen to twenty one years of age. In terms of sex, fifty-five males and ninety-five female. In terms of civil status all of the respondents are in single status. In terms of monthly family income, fifty-seven respondents or thirty-eight percent had a family income of ten thousand one to fifthteen thousand. With respect to emotional aspects the average weighted mean was four point thirty two interpreted as Always and has no problems encountered during their Supervised Industrial Training. With the respect to mental aspects the average weighted mean was four point fourty one interpreted as always and has no problems encountered during their Supervised Industrial Training. With the respect to financial aspects the average weighted mean was three point ninety six interpreted as Often and has no problems encountered during their Supervised Industrial Training. With the respect to physical aspect the average weighted mean was four point thirty four interpreted as Always and has no problems encountered during their Supervised Industrial Training. With the respect to social aspects the average weighted mean was four point thirty nine interpreted as Always and has no problems encountered during their Supervised Industrial Training. In terms of age, the null hypothesis which stated that there is no significant difference on the Problems Encountered by Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management Students in their Supervised Industrial Training except for social. In terms of sex, the null hypothesis which states that there is no significant difference on the problems Encountered by Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management students in their Supervised Industrial Training was accepted. In terms of monthly family income, the null hypothesis which states that there is no significant difference on the problems encountered by Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management students in their supervised Industrial Training was accepted.
