Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Superstitious Belief and Self-Efficacy of Business Owners aimed to determine the level of determine the level of respondents' self-efficacy and whether superstitious beliefs affect the respondents' way of running their business. The study wanted to find out if superstitious belief can increase or decrease their self-efficacy. The researchers used the mixed method research design. It involves collecting, analysis and integrating (or mixing) quantitative and qualitative research (and data) in a single study. There were 50 business owners from Binangonan, Cardona, Morong, Baras and Tanay, Rizal who were respondents of the study. The study found out the business owners strongly disagree with superstitious belief and that they find that self-efficacy is moderately true to them. Moreover, the found out that there is no significant relationship between the superstitious belief and self-efficacy of the business owners. Superstitious beliefs don't affect the business owner's way of running their business and that they rely more on their capabilities in managing their business. The researchers recommend intervention programs like seminars, lectures and workshops reinforcing the business owner's self-efficacy. Advocacy campaign may also be done by distributing brochures and pamphlets that would inform them of the pros and cons of superstitious belief and how it can manipulate everyday activities of individuals.
