Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Electrical Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop and utilize a Magnetic Fan using Neodymium Magnet, and the said study designed and constructed a fan using Neodymium Magnet, evaluated the project acceptability in terms of usefulness, performance, safety and maintenance and determine the significant difference of the evaluation made by the experts and end-users in terms of the mentioned variables. A researcher-made-questionnaire checklist was developed and validated to evaluate the acceptability of the unit in terms of usefulness, performance and safety and maintenance. Response were gathered from ten (10) Electrician from different places as experts and user's ten (10) poultry owners as end-users of the study. The data gathered in the study were statistically treated using qualitative description, weighted mean, and t-test. For the safety and maintenance of the device, the expert's evaluation got an average weighted mean of 4.7 which was verbally interpreted as extremely accepted, while the end-users evaluation got an average weighted mean of 4.9 which was verbally interpreted as extremely accepted. In terms of usefulness, the expert's evaluation got an average weighted mean of 4.9 which was verbally interpreted as extremely accepted, while the end-users evaluation got an average weighted mean of 4.7 which was verbally interpreted as extremely accepted. In terms of performance, the expert's evaluation got an average weighted mean of 4.7 which was verbally interpreted as extremely accepted, while the end-users evaluation got an average weighted mean of 4.9 which was verbally interpreted as extremely accepted. In terms of significant difference, the computed t-value in all aspects is less than the tabulated value which means the null hypothesis is accepted and not significant. This means that all aspect presented in the evaluation of the Developed Magnetic Fan out of Neodymium Magnet perceived by two groups of respondents as acceptable in general, therefore the null hypothesis that there is no significant difference is accepted. It was concluded that there was no significant difference on the level of acceptability of the Developed Magnetic Fan Using Neodymium Magnet by the expert's and end-users in terms of usefulness, safety and maintenance and performance. Based on the result of the study, it was recommended that the Magnetic Fan's coil should be improved to produce bigger output; properly placed the magnets for the stable polarity; the chassis should be expanded if necessary.
