Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Electronics Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study focused on the Voice Recognition Hot Drinks Vending Machine. This was conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong Campus by the students of Bachelor of Technology Major in Electronics Technology, during the school year 2016-2017. This study focused in making the Vending Machine more convenient to use. This can be used to save time and effort of the end-user. This study aimed to develp the Vending Machine using state of the art technology. It sought to determine the acceptability of the Voice Recognition Hot Drinks Vending Machine in terms of Usefulness, Maintenance, Safety and Durability. This study utilized the developmental research design since this is a purposive study of designing and developing a Voice Recognition Hot Drinks Vending Machine which consider the electricity as its source. Developmental researcher is defined as the progress of the existing product of science and technology. In terms of usefulness, the project performs its function according to the desired operation and also Coin-Operated Vending Machine, hence, the respondents revealed that both devices have an exemplary performance. In terms of maintenance, the project utilized instructional guides and efficiently performs its task/functions; the Voice Recognition Hot Drinks Vending Machine and Coin-Operated Vending Machine is very much accepted as revealed on the evaluation made by respondents. In terms of safety, the respondents evaluated the project and Coin-operated Vending Machine as very much accepted as seen in its computed mean. In terms of durability, the project can be upgraded in the future. The Voice Recognition Hot Drinks Vending Machine got the total average weighted mean of 4.74 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted by the respondents. As evaluated by the respondents in Coin-Operated Vending Machine got an average weighted mean of 4.55 and verbally interpreted as very much accepted. As to the significant difference on the evaluations made by the respondents on the acceptability of the Voice Recognition Hot Drinks Vending Machine and Coin-Operated Vending Machine. It was found out that the research project was highly accepted. In terms of the aforementioned variables, the findings revealed that there is no significant difference between the evaluation of the Voice Recognition Hot Drinks Vending Machine and Coin-Operated Vending Machine.
