Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Civil Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to develop an Organic Pigment Tile Molder. Specifically, this study sought to design and construct an organic pigment tile molder, performed try-out and revisions of the defects found during the testing period, and evaluate its acceptability in terms of usefulness, durability and safety and maintenance. Likewise, this study also determined the performance in terms of accuracy and productivity and performance of the device in terms of the following parameters such as productivity and accuracy using scored card. Lastly, the study included the development of operating manual intended for the newly developed device. The study found out that the developed organic pigments tile molder could be constructed and developed out of locally available materials and technically feasible to construct. Moreover, during the try-out and revision period different troubles regarding the operation were discovered. And through try-out and revision, the project reaches the functional output and attained the project objectives. On the evaluation, the acceptability of the tile molder for organic pigments made by the end-users were extremely useful, extremely satisfactory and very safe and easy to maintain while the experts verbally interpreted the device as extremely useful, extremely satisfactory and extremely safe and easy to maintain. There is significant difference on the evaluation made in the Developed Organic Pigments Tile Molder in terms of usefulness and safety and maintenance. Moreover, there is no significant difference for durability and found out to be not significant. On the level of performance of the organic pigments tile molder in terms of productivity, it was found out that the molder was productive and in terms of accuracy it was slightly accurate. The manual consisted of different component parts such as operating manual, safety precaution and maintenance procedures and found out to be helpful in the operation and maintenance of the developed project. In concluding this study, the researchers used developmental, experimental and descriptive method of research since this study focused on the design and construction of the device, performed try-out and revisions on the developed device and determined the level of acceptability of the said device. Two groups of respondents were selected for the evaluation of the project. The first group of respondents was composed of fifteen (15) end-users and five (5) professors and experts from the College of Industrial Technology. The researchers used questionnaire-checklist to test the acceptability of the project. The validated questionnaire-checklist is based on the different objectives of the study which contains the vital information necessary for the completion of the study. The evaluation results were tallied, computed and interpreted.
