Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This research study aimed to construct a Manually Operated Mini Cement Mixer. Specifically, this study attempted to design and construct a cement mixer, perform try-out and revision and evaluate the acceptability of the Manually Operated Mini Cement Mixer in terms of design, usefulness, durability and safety and maintenance. Test the significant difference on the acceptability between the existing mixers and manually operated mini cement mixer. Determining the level of performance of the mixer in terms of volume of concrete produced and duration of mixing. And lastly develop user's manual intended for the manually Operated Mixer. The evaluators of the project consisted of two groups. They were the expert and end users. The Manually Operated Mini Cement Mixer was evaluated by the five (5) experts and fifteen (15) students. On the design and construction of the Manually Operated Mini Cement Mixer. The proponents had a brainstorming to improve the design of the mixer. They found out that the materials can be easily found everywhere in order to start the construction of the mechanical device. Try put and revisions were made by the researchers during the construction period of manually operated mini cement mixer. They found out that there was a problem in the mixer. After all defects were found out, as well as the problem encountered during the experimental period, revisions were done by the researchers to replace and fix the defective parts of the manually operated mini cement mixer. On the acceptability of Manually Operated Mini Cement Mixer as perceived by the respondents. The acceptability of the mechanical device in terms of design is Very Satisfactory, in terms of usefulness is useful, in terms of durability is satisfactory, and in terms of safety and maintenance is satisfactory. On the acceptability of the machine in terms of design is very satisfactory, in terms of usefulness is extremely useful, in terms of durability is extremely satisfactory, and in terms of safety and maintenance is safe and easy. Based on the summary of findings, the researchers found out that the cement mixer as a whole achieved its effectiveness in terms of design, usefulness, durability and safety and maintenance. There is significant difference between the evaluation made by the experts and students on the acceptability of Manually Operated Mini Cement Mixer in terms of design, usefulness, durability and safety and maintenance. The level of performance of the mechanical device computed by the proponent in terms of volume of concrete produced and duration of mixing. They have three trials to know the volume of concrete that can produced by the mechanical device in five minutes. The proponent decided to develop a user's manual consisting of different component parts such as the operating procedures and safety and maintenance procedures. The user's manual found out to be very useful in operating the said device. Based on the results of findings and conclusion, the researchers recommended that more design and advance innovations should be given to the next researchers for the next constructions, mass production of the Manually Operated Mini Cement Mixer for corresponding return of investment should be done and follow-up study should be conducted to understand and to improve the device.
