Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Technology major in Electrical Technology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Improvised Universal Cell Phone Charger Controller was conducted at the University of Rizal System, Morong Campus during school year 2016-2017. The device was constructed out of locally available materials. There were fifty (50) respondents of the study, ten (10) electronics and electrical technology professors as experts and forty (40) end-user of mobile phone. They were selected through purposive random sampling, since they have knowledge in operation of mobile phone charger. They evaluated the developed device in terms of design, usefulness, functionality and safety and maintenance. The data gathered in the study were statically treated using qualitative description, weighted mean and t-test. The study found out that the Improvised Universal Wireless Cell Phone Charger Controller can be constructed out of locally available materials. The Improvised Universal Wireless Charger Controller was tested for operation where troubles were observed and revised. Through try-out and revisions made, the project reached the functional output and attained the objectives. The developed device was evaluated and extremely accepted by the two groups of respondents in terms of design, usefulness, functionality and safety and maintenance. The researchers utilized an adapted and modified researcher's-made questionnaire checklist in evaluating the acceptability of the developed device. The null hypothesis that there is no significant difference on the evaluation made by the experts and end users on the acceptability of the Improvised Universal Wireless Cellphone Charger Controller in terms of design, usefulness, functionality and safety and maintenance was accepted, therefore not significant. Based on the findings and conclusions, the recommendations were hereby offered. Other researchers should conduct parallel study on the effectiveness of the Improvised Universal Wireless Cellphone Charger Controller to improve its features and capability; Feasibility study for possible mass production should be taken into consideration; Other research instruments should be revised in order to test other variables that may affect the performance of the developed device.
