Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to design a layout of Water Distribution System Design at Barangay Bayugo, Jalajala Rizal as a solution to help the community especially in rural areas like barangay Bayugo. Serving their increasing demands in terms of providing a means of supply of water was a big deal since it will improve their way of living. The researchers analyzed the strength and weaknesses of the project in terms of accessibility, population, environment aspect and utilities. They verified the availability of water resources by going to the places that has already an access off water distribution system like the office of water distribution system like the office of water distribution in Barangay Special District, Jalajala, Rizal. The design of water distribution system for the people of Brgy. Bayugo, Jalajala, Rizal was of great importance not only to the community itself but also to the Government sector and to the researchers as well. It includes also the transmission mains, elevated water tank and pump. However, different case should be considered in the design of pipelines and elevated water tank capacity. For pipelines cases include (1) Water was supplied from elevated water tank, pump not operating, (2) All faucets are close, and pump is utilized to fill up the elevated water tank. On the other hand, elevated water tank capacity was computed to one fourth (1/4) of the average day demand and (2) elevated water tank used only to supply water in excess of the maximum day demand. In consideration with the design, submersible pump will be used which is suitable for deep wells. However, the design of pipelines can distribute water sufficiency to every household. The capacity of elevated water tank can supply the maximum day demand of the community. Further, study should be made for the portability of water in Brgy. Bayugo. Well should be drilled to develop more sufficient amount of water or make a line of pipe from the pumping station going through the lake for more sufficient amount of water. The community should coordinate with the government officials regarding the implementation of the design. Other researches may continue and improve the study using other method or they may develop other part of the complete water supply system.
