Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Agricultural Technology University of Rizal System Tanay 2019 Summary: Rice production was conducted to serve as a requirement for the course of Bachelor in Agricultural Technology curriculum to train the OIP student by applying the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to agricultural entrepreneurship. A.I.C rice production is implemented at purok Libis, sitio san Ysiro, Barangay san Jose, Antipolo City. The project can be reached through land transportation within one hour and fifty-five minute ( 1hr 55 mins.) with have forty-one and five kilometers (41.5km) from the University of Rizal System, Tanay, Rizal. The production was started on June 13,, 2018 and was ended on November 28, 2018. Cultural management practices were done by the proponent with the assistance of parents and adviser. The area consists of one (1) hectare irrigated land suitable for lowland rice production. A total of forty (40) paddies were used at different sizes. The project was planted hybrid rice variety, pioneer Hybrid 77 also known as PHB 77. The production started in land clearing, purchasing of major needs, land preparation and others that are needed in the production. Other activities were listed in the program of work was performed by the OIP student and hired laborer. The project realized a total harvest of ninety eight (98) sacks with fifty (50) kilograms per sack and was sold at one thousand (1,000.00) per sack (dried) and the milled rice was sold at two thousand five hundred (2,500.00) per sack. A total gross sale of one hundred three thousand (103,000.00) with the expenses of fifty eight thousand four hundred seventy nine and ninety centavos (58,479.90) and net income of forty-four thousand five hundred twenty and ten centavos (44,520.10) with seventy-six point thirteen percent (76.13%) return on investment. The only problem encountered by the OIP student was the typhoon that hit the area while the rice was on vegetative stage which caused almost 30% damaged to the plantation attributed by the water and debris from the river adjacent flow to the plantation.
