The vacuum type multi-seeder for seedling tray consist of seed plate, main body, electric air pump, handle and rubber foam gasket. The data gathered from the experiment using vacuum type multi-seeder and manual seeding were analyzed using T-test. High average percent single was attained in sowing mustard and pechay seeds using the vacuum type multi-seeder. Low average percent multiple was attained in mustard, pechay and lettuce seeds. Vacuum type multi-seeder attained higher percent miss and lower percent cell seeded with all type of seeds compared with manual seeding. The use of vacuum type multi-seeder resulted to higher average singulation efficiency and seed utilization efficiency in mustard, pechay and lettuce seeds. The seeding time is lower and the seeder productivity higher by an average of 5.5 times for all seed types using the vacuum type multi-seeder. The total investment cost of the vacuum type multi seeder for seedling tray is Php. 3,858.20 and is projected to be recovered in less than a year.
