Fifty five (55) BSE English 3rd and 4th year students were purposively utilized. Descriptive research design was used employing as well, frequency, percentage, rank and verbal interpretation. mean and ANOVA as statistical tools. Salient findings of the study were as follows: More than 60 percent of the respondents are ranging from 18 - 20 years of age, females, parents are mostly high school graduates, receives 10,001 - 15,000, have access to Facebook and spent 1 - 3 hours a day on using social media. The most used Acronym is OTW, as to Filipino Slang are Pabebe and Charot, as to Reverted Word is Lodi and as to Clippings are Mema and Bes. As to their performance when grouped according to profile, the 21 - above year old respondents, males, graduated with MAT/MAEd units, with family income of 25,001 - above and spending 10 - 12 hours of using social media claim "sometimes".Based on the findings of the study, the researchers concluded that majority of the respondents are within the range of 18 - 20 years old, more females have access on Facebook and spent 1 - 3 hours a day on using social media. Most of the respondents used the acronym OTW, Filipino slang words Charot and Pabebe, Reverted word Lodi, and Clippings' Mema and Bes. The Bachelor of Secondary Education III and IV students' use of millennial terms on social media has no direct relationship towards their performance in English. Based on the findings, the researchers offer the following recommendations: Millennial terms can be a new form of language; hence these words can be utilized in oral and written communication in classroom situation or even in activities, It is recommended that the trend in language use like millennial terms be adopted as substitute/reference as medium of communication in the classroom. Students may be also encouraged to use other social media sites that will enhance their language communication. It is also said that despite of our digital generation, there should be an easier and beneficial of keeping other young people that keeps them updated to the new things without the cause of money. Literature review should also be done because most literatures are in general. This study is also a suitable as a basis of further language research that may be conducted.
