Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis AB Major in English University of Rizal System Tanay 2019 Summary: This study aimed to determine the problems encountered in oral communication of the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English students of the College of Science and Education of University of Rizal System - Tanay. The research used the descriptive method to determine the problems encountered in oral communication. The frequency, percentage distribution, rank and weighted mean were used in the interpretation of the gathered data The salient findings of the study were as follows: Among the respondents, 82.22 percent are female, 80 percent are 18 22 years old; 66.67 percent are BSE English; 93.33 percent and single and 75.56 percent are good speakers The respondents sometimes encountered organization, language skills and delivery a problem in oral communication. However, voice was seldom encountered as problem. The respondents sometimes encountered problems in oral communication particularly on organization, language skills, delivery and voice. Based on the findings of the study the researchers recommend the following: students must continue practice oral communication to enhance their assessment from good to excellent; teachers should continue to give speaking activities to enhance the student‟s oral communication skills such as spoken poetry, declamation, impromptu, public speaking, storytelling and extemporaneous, interview and group discussions; students must develop poise, confidence, and pronunciation skills; and similar study maybe conducted to verify the result of the study.
