Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine the relationship of parental pressure and student's achievement goals. The study is composed of fifty (50) psychology students from different section who were selected from the survey conducted by the researchers. The study made use of the descriptive method of research utilizing the adapted questionnaire. Checklist was the main tool to gather the needed information or data. To determine the profile of the respondents, frequency, percentage and ranking distribution was used. To determine the level of parental pressure of the participants, frequency, percentage distribution and mean were used. To determine the extent of achievement goals of the participants with respect to the given aspect in terms of selected variables, frequency, percentage distribution and mean were used. To determine the significant difference in the level of parental pressure of the participants in terms of their profile, one-way analysis (ANOVA) was used. To determine the significant difference in the extent of achievement goals of the participants in terms of their profile, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was utilized. To find the significant relationship between parental pressure and achievement goals, pearson-r was used. In the line with the result of the study the majority of the participants are 18 years old. There are more female participants than male, and for the participants' monthly family income belongs to 10,000 above. Most of the participants' educational attainment of mother is college graduate, and for the father's educational attainment are high school graduate. The extent of the achievement goals of the participants in terms of mastery approach with the highest average of 11.5, mastery avoidance with the highest average of 8.56, performance approach with the highest average of 10.32 and performance avoidance with the highest average of 10.38. The study rejected the null hypothesis that parental pressure has influence on student's achievement goals. From the result of the study, the researchers recommended that parents may spend time to attend to parenting orientations and seminars conducted by the educational institution.
