Human resource management is the process of managing people in organizations in a structure and through manners.
The study was undertaken to determine that human resource management functions in selected fast-food restaurants in Marikina City during the first semester of school year 2011-2012.
The respondents of the study were fifty (50) managers of selected fast-food restaurants,
It utilized the Descriptive Method of research using a questionnaire checklist which is the main instrument in gathering data.
For statistical treatment of data, mean was used to determine the human resource management sanctions in selected fast food restaurants in Marikina City in terms of job organization and information, acquisition of human resources, maintenance, development and research. One Way ANOVA was employed to determine the significant difference among the human resource management functions in the selected fast-food restaurants in Marikina City.
Based on the analysis and results of data the significant findings were summarized as follows
On the human resource management functions in selected fast-food restaurants in Marikina City in terms of job organization and information, obtained the average mean of 4.48, keeps an organized and functional file on job design ranked first with the mean of 4 70, while the least in ranked, prepares job descriptions and job specifications as part of job analysis obtained a mean of 4.24 All items are verbally interpreted as Always.
