As the result of the study, it showed that respondents experienced difficulties in managing their time and taking care of their children, and also they experienced profound sadness in losing their wives. They undergo through the courses of bereavement such as grief, shock and numbness, yearning and searching, despair and recovery. As well as the character strengths exhibited by the respondents like being positive, optimistic and persevere that helps them manage life in a positive way. As for general recommendation, future researchers may conduct a study about experiences of bereaved widowers, challenges, character strength and perspective in life. The government must established a livelihood project for widowers with no permanent work and some recreational activities to prevent depression in losing their wives. Each town must establish a counseling room in Barangay Health Centers to provide counseling program for widowers and lastly the Municipal Social Welfare Development Office of Rizal must conduct seminar or forum on how to cope in time of bereavement.
