Cardona 2018 Summary: The effective ness of mabuhay balls technology on controlling cyanobacteria was experimented in the university of Rizal system Cardona campus at sitio kuhala, brgy. Dalig, Cardona rizal. In three months duration of the study it underwent culturing cyanobacteria within 5-6 weeks with 0.005 mg/L NPK solution. The 330 ml concentrated cyanobacteria inoculated in 10 ml of water in the tank. In 20 days, the density of cyanobacteria with and without mabuhay balls technology was counted using haemocytometer and it was done every third day with the assistance of Southeast Asian fisheries development center (SEAFDEC). The result of the study was determined by the used of independent t-test. Based on the findings the pH level, treatment I increased and on the treatment II was decreased. It implied that the data gathered in the morning and afternoon was same higher without mabuhay balls and become lower with mabuhay balls. Moreover, it was observed that both treatment was inversely proportional on counting 1-3, the trends moved up slowly but on counting 4 until last counting a rapid rate of increase in treatment I and decrease in treatment II. It showed that mabuhay balls technology has a significant difference in controlling cyanobacteria.
