EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Study entitled "The Relationship of Parenting Style to the Self-Control of Second Year and Third Year students of URSM Laboratory School" was conducted during the 1st semester of school year 2012-2013. The subjects of the study were the 2nd year and 3rd year high school students and their parents with a total number of 100 respondents. It is composed of 25 2nd year and 25 3rd year students and 50 parents. The descriptive method of research utilizing questionnaire checklist was used to gather the data needed in the study. Weighted mean was used to determine the level of parents' parenting style and the level of 2nd year and 3rd year high school students' self-control. To determine the predictor of parenting style to the self-control of students f-test was used. To know the relationship of parenting style and self-control of 2nd year and 3rd year high school students, Pearson-r was used. The study found out that among the parenting style only authoritarian parenting style has significant relationship on the self-control of high school students specifically in terms of sample tasks.
