EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled Probabilistic Model on the Life Span and Utilization of Digital Light Processing (DLP) Units in the College of Science was conducted during the school year 2015-2016. The main purpose of this study was to know the estimated life span and utilization of Digital Light Processing (DLP) Units in the College of Science. The practical application of using probabilistic model is that it would give the mathematicians and scientist much information for explaining and controlling natural phenomena. The researchers gathered information on the expected life span of the selected Digital Light Processing (DLP) from the internet and from the record book of Digital Light Processing (DLP) users in the College of Science. Estimating the life span of the Digital Light Processing (DLP) may not be reliable one because different factors may affect the failure of Digital Light Processing (DLP) like the screen is dark with no picture and no On Screen Display (OSD). The researchers found out that more professors who used the Digital Light Processing (DLP), the lesser the chance that the other professors can be use Digital Light Processing (DLP).
