Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to find out the relationship between the academic performance and involvement in school's sports development of grade 6 pupils, specifically the significant relationship of their academic performance to their involvement in school sports development. Grade 6 athletes from Binangonan Elementary School served as respondents of the study. The study was conducted during the Academic Year 2015-2016 In Binangonan Elementary School. Descriptive correlation and document analysis method of research were employed in the study. The data of the study were gathered through collecting final grade of the respondents in the academic subject areas which are English, Science and Mathematics. Questionnaire-checklist that related to their status in school sports development in terms of projects, assignments, test and quizzes, attendance and classroom performance were also made. With the analysis and interpretation of the data gathered it was found out that the academic performance of pupils is not significant to their involvement in school sports development. According to the analysis of data and results obtained it was found out that although pupils were involved in school sports development they can also satisfactorily perform their academics. Based on the summary of findings the following conclusions were drawn: the academic performance of Grade 6 pupils in terms of English, Science and Mathematics is verbally interpreted as satisfactory; the status of pupils' involvement in school's sports involvement has no significant effect in their projects, assignment, tests and quizzes, projects and classroom performance; and the academic performance of grade 6 pupils has no significant relationship to their involvement in school's sports development. It is recommended to engage pupils in school's sports development activities.
