Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the extent of development of leadership skills of the College of Science students through extension service programs such as Tutoring Special Children and Youth (TUSCY). Patnubay at Gabay Alay Ko, Botikang Buhay Phase 2 and Mobile Math Tutoring Services with 30 respondents each program. The study was conducted during the School Year 2016-2017 in University of Rizal System Morong campus. Purposive learning technique was used for 120 respondents. It made use of descriptive method of research design. The researchers made questionnaire-checklist is the major instrument used in gathering the data with frequency, percentage, rank distribution and mean were the statistical used. The collected data were treated, interpreted and summarized. Based on the findings, the following conclusions from the study are drawn. Most of the respondents are female, within the age (19-21 years old) with a year level of 3rd year and they involved in the extension service program such as Tutoring Special Children and Youth (TUSCY) with 30 respondents out of 120. The development of leadership skills of College of Science students is often involved and joined themselves through extension service programs. Age, sex, year level, course and extension service programs are not significant on the leadership skills. Most effective extension service program as "Tutoring Special Children and Youth" (TUSCY) extension activity of BS Psychology. This extension activity is connected to their course. They are willing to understand the feeling of being a special child. Therefore, it is recommended that the institution must encourage and expose more students to extend their services through voluntary joining in extension programs to enhance their leadership skills and the college may conduct orientation activities about the different extension programs and on the benefits, that maybe derived from them and also parallel studies may be conducted using other variables.
