Online information system of Jalajala, Rizal

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to develop an Online Information System of Jalajala Rizal and to verify the level of acceptability of the developed system in terms of accuracy, applicability, user friendliness, workability, completeness, modifiability and portability. It was conducted at University of Rizal System located in Sumulong St. Morong Rizal during the school year 2009-2010. The study used resources to gather the related data of the study with the help of some books, unpublished thesis, dictionaries, and the web or internet. The construction of the program was based on the subject matter. This study used the descriptive and developmental method. Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 was used on the development of the program. This web developer has the ability to perform special functions in the development of the online information system. A questionnaire checklist was utilized as the main instrument to determine the level of acceptability of the developed program. The respondents were 40 municipal staff of Jalajala Rizal. Those persons were primary persons who benefit most of the developed system based on its objectives. After the evaluation of the developed system, it was found out that the acceptability of the proposed system was accepted by the respondents In terms of its accuracy, applicability, user friendliness, workability, completeness, modifiability and portability. It has been proven that the developed system was accepted. Therefore the researchers recommended that the system must be used by the municipality of Jalajala, Rizal as its official web page for this gives the constituents of Jalajala, Rizal and other concerned individuals in gathering information and research about the town. It can help them to do research in a fast and convenient way. Future researchers should conduct a follow up study for further enhancement of the developed system. Based on the findings, it is clearly recommended that the developed system can be implemented in the municipal of Jalajala so that it would be easy for the user to find information of the town and have the information be printed in less time and effort. The future researchers should conduct a follow up studies for the enhancement of the developed system in terms of its workability completeness.
