Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Biology) -- University of Rizal system-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine and analyze the nature of vegetation along the selected areas of Mount Kay Maputi, Binangonan Rizal-Southeast side. The study was conducted at University of Rizal System, Morong Campus during the school year 2017-2018. The sutyd identified and recorded the different plant types present in Mount Kay Maputi, Binangonan Rizal -South East side. This also sought to gain information to apprise people on the status and uses of lora found on the area. Likewise, the plants encountered in Mount Kay Maputi, Binangonan Rizal-Southeast side were assorted according to their taxonomic claasification, conservational status , distribution and its origin. In the collection of plants species, selected areas in the mountain were plotted using walk and transect method. The attained plant specimens were photographed and pressed for proper identification. Flora were assessed by using different sources such as books, legit websites and existing monographs with dichotomous key. Simpson index and Shannon=Weiner Index were utilized after the collection to determine the diversity of plant in the area. Based on the calculated results, the study revealed that angiosperm plants are the common type of plant and the trees are the most abundant plant form present in Mount Kay Puti, Binangonan Rizal-Southeast Side. While, in terms of classification units Order Malpighiales, Family Fabaceae and Genus Ficus rank first. Moreover, the calculated Simpson Index shows that there is diversity among the plants found in different altitude level because the obtained value is far from 1. Considering the calculated rate of Shannon-Weinner Index, the findings shows that there is 5 percent diversity species per different altitude level. Calculated chi-square values on the rate of Vegetation of Plants along Selected Areas of Mount Kay Puti, Binangonan, Rizal-Southeast Side indicated that in terms of Forms of Vegetation Plant Types, Classification of Order and Family, Plant Origin and Conservation Ststus with respect to the International Union of Nature have significant difference on the rate of vegetation but in the classification of genera, the rate of Vegetation is insignificant. Thus, it can be concluded that the vegetation found in Mount Kay Maputi, Binangonan, Rizal-Southeast Side is considered to be homogeneous in types by elevation, but diverse in plant species.
