Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the extent of implementation of Child Protection Policy (R.A. 7610) in Selected elementary schools in Morong District. It was conducted during the school year 2016-2017. Parents and school personnel composed of 184 were the respondents of the study. The researchers utilized a questionnaire-checklist which included variables such as child abuse, discrimination, exploitation and bullying. To determine the extent of implementation of Child Protection Policy (R.A. 7610) in selected public elementary schools, mean was used. Furthermore, to test, the hypothesis if there is no significant difference on the extent of implementation of Child Protection Policy as evaluated by the two groups of respondents, t-test was used. With respect to the different variables such as child abuse, discrimination, exploitation, and bullying, it was found out that the child protection policy is very much implemented in the different public elementary school as evaluated by the respondents. Also, it was found out that there is significant difference on the perception of the two groups of respondents on the extent of implementation of Child Protection Policy with respect to child abuse, discrimination, exploitation and bullying since their obtained p-values are all less than 0.05 level of significance. It was concluded that the Child Protection Policy (R.A. 7610) is strictly implemented in public elementary schools and parents and school personnel protect the children from child abuse, discrimination, exploitation and bullying. It was recommended to conduct further study with regards to Child Protection Policy (R.A. 7610) considering other school in Morong District.
