Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study entitled "Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Based Electricity Control System for Classroom Utilization" was conducted to lessen the accountability of the students and professors on turning off the appliances with an easy aid operation of turning them off. The researchers believe that with the aid of this device, the university's classroom will have minor accidents in terms of left opened appliances inside. This study was conducted at the University of Rizal System-Morong during the School Year 2017-2018. To determine the acceptability of the study in terms of accuracy, applicability, efficiency, functionality and safety and maintenance of the system, the researchers selected 5 professors and 25 students in College of Engineering who were the respondents of the study for they will be beneficiaries of the device. The objective of the study is to provide security for classroom with the use of Radio Frequency Identification Card as a replacement of manual operation of turning on and off the appliances. Based on the summary of the results of evaluation, it was concluded that the device is capable to perform its task well, the researchers were able to design and construct a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)- Based Electricity Control System for Classroom Utilization out of the locally available materials. The project also attains its functions based on the result of the evaluation made by the respondents on the project design; it shows that is very much accepted with regards to the efficiency, functionality, and safety and maintenance. The researchers recommended that the device may be used in with two or more facilities, display on LCD screen for better viewing of the device status and to have the device a proper place and better protection.
