Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science in Guidance and Counseling University of Rizal System-Morong 2018 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine Personality Types and Social Relationship of College of Science Students in University of Rizal System. This was conducted during the first semester of the school year 2017-2018. The subject of the study was the College of Science students in University of Rizal System, who described in terms of their profile such as age, year level and course, parents marital status, sex and sibling position. The study used the questionnaire-checklist as the main instrument in gathering the needed data. It was validated with the help of experts in the field of Guidance and Counseling. To further interpret the data gathered, the following statistical tools were applied. To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of different variables, frequency, percentage and rank distribution were used. To determine the personality types of the respondents with respect to the given aspects, mean was applied. To determine the social relationship of the respondents with respect to the given aspects, mean was applied. To determine the significant difference on the extent of personality types of respondents with respects to the given aspects in terms of their profile, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was employed. To find the significant difference on the extent of social relationship of the respondents with respect to the given aspects in term of their profile, One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was employed. To find the significant relationship between the extent of personality types and social relationship, Pearson-r was applied. Based on the summary of findings, the following conclusions are cited. College of Science students are mostly female 19 to 21 years old, enrolled in BS Psychology, BS Guidance and Counseling, BS Biology and BS Math, with married parents and second born children. College of Science students often have extrovert, introvert and ambivert personality types. College of Science students are always mingling with their family and often with peers or classmates and with community. Personological background of the College of Science students are not contributory to their personality types. Social Relationship of College of Science students are not affected by their personal background. Personality types and social relationship of College of Science students are related. Based on the findings and conclusions, the following are hereby recommended. The University of Rizal System Morong College of Science may conduct programs and activities to enhance the personality types and social being of the students. Intervention Program like lecture forums seminar workshop on how to motivate both parents and children to have a good relationship with each other maybe done by College of Science and the Office of the Student Development Services. Further studies may be conducted considering other variables.
