This study was conducted in the school year 2017-2018. The subjects of the study were the teenagers of broken families, who described in terms of their profile such as sex, age, grade level and sibling position. The study used the adapted questionnaire-checklist and researchers made questionnaire-checklist as the main instrument in gathering the needed data. It was validated with the help of experts in the field of Guidance and Counseling. The data gathered was tabulated and interpreted, using the frequency, percentage and rank distribution are statistical statement used to determine the profile of respondents in terms of sex, age, grade level and sibling position. Weighted mean was used to determine the level of social acceptance of the respondents with respect to relatives, peers/classmates and community. Weighted mean was used to determine the emotional intelligence of the respondents. One way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to determine the significant difference on the social acceptance and emotional intelligence of teenagers with respect to the respondent profile. Pearson-r was used to determine significant relationship between the level of social acceptance and the emotional intelligence of the respondents. Based on the summary of findings, the following conclusions are drawn. There are more female teenagers whose age are 16 to 17 grade 10 middle born teenagers are much accepted socially. Teenagers are often aware and could manage their emotional intelligence. The personal information of teenagers is not contributory to their social acceptance. Emotional intelligence is not affected by the personal background of teenagers. Social acceptance is related to the emotional intelligence of the teenagers. Based on the findings and conclusions, the study comes up with these following recommendations. Strengthen parents and teacher's cooperation to supervise the behaviour of teenagers. The school may conduct seminar to students and parents about social acceptance and emotional intelligence. Parallel study maybe conducted using other variable.
