Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science in Guidance and Counseling University of Rizal System-Morong 2018 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled "CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT OF TEACHERS AND STUDENTS ACADEMIC SUCCESS IN SELECTED PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN RIZAL" was conducted during school year 2017-2018. It aimed to determine the classroom management of teachers and academic success of the students from selected public schools in Rizal. The subject of the study were two hundred (200) grade 10 students from selected schools in Rizal such as Baras National High School, Bernardo F. San Juan High School, Morong National High School and Tanay National High School as the setting of the study. The subject was described using their profile such as sex, parent marital status and monthly family income. They also served as the respondents, since the researchers believed that they can give the needed information for the success of this study. This study is limited to the grade 10 junior high school students from selected public schools in Rizal. This study used the descriptive method of research utilizing the researcher-made questionnaire-checklist validated by the experts and administered to the respondents to gather the needed data. For the analysis and interpretation of data, the following statistical treatments were considered. To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of sex, parent marital status and monthly family income will be used. to attain an accurate result of the specific questions in the statement of the problem, the following statistical treatments were used. to determine the profile of the respondents, frequency, percentage and rank distribution were employed. To determine the extent influence of student facilitators with respect to different aspects, mean was applied. To find the significant difference on the extent of classroom management of teachers with respect to the respondents in terms of their profile One-Way of Variance (ANOVA) was employed. Based from the summary of findings, the following conclusions are drawn. Grade 10 students are mostly female whose parents are married with average family income. The use of rewards or reinforcement is often implemented by the teacher while discipline implementation or classroom discipline is always implemented. Grade 10 students have high academic success and the personal information of grade 10 students is not contributory of the classroom management or teachers. Based from the summary of findings and conclusions drawn the following recommendations are hereby offered. Teachers are encouraged to use different classroom management in the class and motivation and encouragement of the teachers may be strengthen on the students to help students to attain academic success and parallel studies maybe conducted considering other variables.
