Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Hotel and Restaurant Management University of Rizal System-Morong 2018 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to determine the skills acquired by the BT-HRM trainees of URSM in their supervised industry in resorts and restaurants. The subject of the study was one hundred (100) third year students of bachelor of technology major in hotel and restaurant management of the college of industrial technology in university of rizal system morong who have finished their supervised industry training during the school year 2017-2018. The researchers used the descriptive method in gathering the necessary data in the study. It contains the profile of the one hundred (100) respondents like age, sex, civil status, and the national certificate of competency passed. Other variables like practical skills, communication skills and work ethics and behavioral skills were also considered. The evaluation was tallied, tabulated and treated statistically. The respondents of the study were mostly with ages 16-20, female, mostly single. They hold national certificate in housekeeping with 77, food and beverage 35, bartending 6, bread and pastry 17 and front office 71. Skills acquired by the bt-hrm trainees of ursm in their supervised industry training in resorts and restaurants with respect to practical skills and work ethics and behavioral skills was "very highly developed/acquired", while with respect to communication skills, it was "highly developed/acquired" There is significant difference between the practical and communication skills acquired of the respondents in their SIT and the age of the respondents, while there is no significant difference between the age and the work ethics and behavioral skills of the respondents. There is no significant difference between sex, civil status and national certificate of competency and the different skills acquired by the respondents during their SIT.
