Estimating the generated income of tourism industry in municipality

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study entitled ESTIMATING THE GENERATED INCOME OF TOURISM INDUSTRY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TANAY RIZAL was conducted during academic year 2017-2018. The main purpose of the study is to estimate the future income Tourism Industry in Municipality of Tanay, Rizal. This research is pursued upon the objective of knowing whether the Malthusian Model and Linear Trend Model is applicable in estimating the income. The researchers gathered the needed data from the Tourism Office in the Municipality of Tanay, Rizal. After using the said models, it was concluded that the income will continuously increase for the next five years using Malthusian and Linear Trend. As the result shows, it is concluded that the Linear Trend Model is closer to the actual income and can be used in the subject estimating the income. By virtue of the preceding findings and conclusions, the researchers recommended that the study can be used as basis in planning what the tourism office of Tanay, Rizal should do to maintain the growth of income of tourism industry on their municipality and linear trend model can be used to maximize the projection of income of tourism industry
