This also aimed to determine the level of acceptability of the biometric-controlled locker in terms of quality and design, usefulness, durability and safety and maintenance: also, the study aimed to determine the level of performance of the biometric-controlled locker in terms of reliability with respect to response time and test the accuracy of the cabinet mechanism with respect to actuation. Lastly, to develop a user manual. On the level of acceptability of the project as revealed by the respondents in terms of quality and design, usefulness, durability, safety and maintenance. It was found out that the biometric-controlled locker was strongly accepted as perceived by the electronics expert and students as end users. On The level of performance of the developed biometric-controlled locker, it was found out that there was extremely reliable base on the recorder average response time. Also, the cabinet mechanism is found to be accurate with respect to average actuation speed from the tests conducted. Based from the results of the study, the researchers recommended the following: specification and proper placement of each component should be considered in other to attain maximum utilization. Educational institution must encourage and support the student to be creative in designing and constructing gadgets and support end users in their daily shares. Follow up study of the effectiveness of biometric-controlled locker should be undertaken and, other research instruments should be revised in order to test other variables that may effects the performance of the project.
