Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Mathematics major in Computer Science) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to create a mobile game application that helps the students in enhancing their thinking in achieving their goals and in dealing to their environment for Grade 4 students. This study was conducted at Tomas Claudio Memorial Elementary School in Academic Year 2017-2018. This study was mainly concerned about the skills and potentials of the students that can further enhance their knowledge in the field of mathematics and environmental matter. To have an aspiration and eagerness to achieve their dreams whatever state they are in their life. In addition, to get their interest and attention by using mobile phone in the said subject and enjoy it at the same time. The researchers used descriptive and developmental method of research. The study made a conducive and feasible program that can enhance the knowledge of grade four students of Tomas Claudio Memorial Elementary School in the field of mathematics and environmental matter. They also have an aspiration and eagerness to achieve their dreams whatever state they are in life and also to test the performance of the respondents thereafter using the proposed program and to appraise the effectiveness and acceptability of the mathematical and environmental games. The sixty (60) Grade four students and forty (40) teachers of Tomas Claudio Memorial Elementary School were the respondents of the study and they were selected through random sampling techniques specifically quota sampling technique. Independent T-test and weighted mean were used as a statistical treatment of the study. Unity and C sharp served as the programming languages used in the development of the software that made the developed program more interesting, the developed program was very much accepted by the teachers and students in terms of different aspects. There was no significant difference as to the perception of the two groups of respondents in the level of acceptability of the developed system. Based on the findings, researchers highly recommended that this program may be used as effective tool in Dreamathure Application for Grade 4 students. The future researchers are encouraged to improve and develop this application to come up with the data that may give the efficient information and additional learnings about the mathematics and environment.
