Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Technology major in Electronics Technology University of Rizal System-Morong 2017 Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This research focused on the development of program based digital body mass index analyzer to take body measurements in an easier way. This was conducted during the school year 2016-2017, by the students from the college of industrial technology taking up bachelor of technology major in electronic technology at the university of rizal system, morong rizal, located at sumulong street, morong, rizal. This research sought to design and construct a program based digital body mass index analyzer. It aimed to test the level of performance of program based digital body mass index analyzer in terms of speed in result generation and accuracy in result uniformity. The researchers determine the significant difference on the result generated between the traditional method and the developed devise on the computation of body mass index. They also determine the level of acceptability of developed program based digital body mass index analyzer in terms of design, usefulness, reliability and safety and maintenance. This research aimed to test the acceptability in terms of its design, functionality, reliability, safety and maintenance based on the remarks given by the respondents that consist of medical clinic personnel and experts from the college of industrial technology. The researchers asked the evaluators to interpret and analyze the data. This study used the questionnaire checklist in gathering important data as the primary source of study. The questionnaire checklist is divided into two parts. The first part consists of respondent's name, sex, age, height, weight and the second part consists of the aspects that evaluated the acceptability of the developed program based digital body mass index analyzer. The null hypothesis that there is no significance difference between the results generated on the traditional method and the developed device on the computation of body mass index in terms of speed was found out that the developed device was accepted and it is advisable to utilize in most medical clinics. Based on the results of the study the researchers recommended that an improvement in the object design should be included to make the object completely stable, to show also the body mass index result and there should be an included printer to print the data result.
