Online resources: Dissertation note: Thesis Bachelor of Science Major in Psychology University of Rizal System Pililla Summary: This study aimed to reveal the life experiences and to determine the level of the self-efficacy among junior high school students with parents who are professional teacher in selected public High Schools in the District of Pililla, Rizal with respect to their emotional, social, and mental aspects. There were twenty (20) respondents junior high school students with parents who are professional teachers: six (6) from Pililla National High School, four (4) from Bugarin Natioanl High School, and five (5) from Malaya National High School and five (5) from Quisao National High School. They were those who satisfied the following criteria: a) male of female; b) enrolled as junior student in a public school in the District of Pililla, c) has been proven that he/she is a child of professional teacher/s; d) willing to participate; e) able to answer the questions clearly, and f) trust the researchers. The researchers used the descriptive mixed method with both qualitative and quantitative research design in revealing the life experiences and in determining the level of self-efficacy of children of professional teachers. On the other hand, researchers'-made structure interview questionnaire was utilized for the data gathering on the life experiences of the respondents. To supplement the data, the researchers applied Indigenous methods of research such as visitation; chatting and observation were also utilized to supplement the data, not only to establish rapport with the respondents, but also, to dig more places of information and/or to clarify their answers. From the analysis and interpretation of data, the findings were summarized as follows: With regard to the profile of junior high school students with parents who are professional teachers, majority of the respondents belonged to a regular students who are expected to be in junior high school, having much responsibilities as the eldest in the family, gender-fair, transition from elementary to secondary level and in terms of school are located in the town proper. With regard to the level of self-efficacy among junior high school students with parents who are professional teachers, self-modification ranked first with the verbal interpretation as average, followed by self-motivation and the verbal interpretation as average and last ranked is self-management and self-monitoring with the verbal interpretation as below average. They were motivated as a child of licensed professional teacher by their family and friends to support them in all activities that they involve. In the line with the interview generally, the respondents said that the astonishing events that they had been experienced they are recognized in their school. The respondents believed that they are more diligent to study even they are not a child of licensed professional teacher because they want to provide for their family and also give them a beautiful life someday. According to the respondents they are more active in extra-curricular because they really want to show their talents and other skills. The respondents believed that even they experienced pressured in their academic because of their parents expectation; their performance tends to increase and they think in a more positive way; they become more dedicated and productive students and a child of licensed professional teachers.
