Melendres. Memorial Elementary School Pililla, Rizal School Year 2017-2018 the respondents were composed of seventy four (74) pupils from Virgilio B. Melendres Memorial Elementary School. The researchers used the descriptive method of research. It involves the description, recording, analysis and interpretation of condition that exists. The major instrument used in this study was researchers-made questionnaire-checklist based from the literatures read which underwent validation from respectable authorities. Part I dealt with the profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, ordinal position, child living with mother/father, dwelling place and work of parent. Part II dealt with factors affecting the level of performance of elementary pupils with single parent with respect to parent. Social, economics, emotional and physical. The data gathered were treated statistically using frequency, percentage distribution, weighted mean and rank distribution. Based on the findings of the study in terms of sex female has a highest frequency. In terms of age, 55.41 percent. In terms of ordinal position 37.84 percent. In terms of child living with mother/father 66.22 percent. In terms of dwelling place 70.27 percent. In terms of work of parent 40.54 percent. Factors affecting the performance of elementary pupils with single parents in Virgilio B. Melendres Memorial Elementary School in terms of parent, the respondent obtain the average weighted mean of 3.61 and verbally interpreted as often, With respect to social the respondent obtain the average weighted mean of 3.20 and verbally interpreted as sometimes. With respect to economics the respondents obtain the average weighted mean of 3.08 and verbally interpreted as sometimes. With respect to emotional the respondents obtain the average weighted mean of 2.89 and verbally interpreted as sometimes. With respect to physical the respondent obtain the average weighted mean of 3.02 and verbally interpreted as sometimes. These have the total average weighted mean of 3.16 and verbally interpreted as sometimes.
