Implementation of anti-bullying act of 2013 ( Ra 10627 ) among public elementary schools in district Vi, Division of quezon city/ Dina M. Bangayan

Online resources: Dissertation note: GSTHESIS Master of Arts in Education Major in Educational Management University of Rizal System, Rodriguez, Rizal Summary: The study aimed to determine the status of the Implementation of Anti- Bullying Act of 2013 (RA 10627) in School District VI, Division of Quezon City. School Year 2019-2020. The phases that were assessed by the respondents included the number of reported bullying incidents before and after the implementation, the status of the implementation with respect to: prevention activities, prevention program and intervention program conducted among schools and the barriers encountered by the school in the implementation. The study made use of descriptive evaluative method of research utilizing the researcher-made survey questionnaire validated by experts. Descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentage distribution and weighted mean was used as statistical tool in this study. Sample population of the teachers from grades one to six was utilized and all the Child Protection Committees and guidance counselors in each school were all asked to involve in the study somehow few of them did not participate. Respondent from the group of the teachers where randomly chosen. There was a total of 272 respondents participated in the study from the group of teachers out of 306 supposedly while 31 out 36 total respondents participated from the group of Child Protection Committees and 6 out 6 total respondents from the guidance counselors took part. Based on the study it was found out that on the average, the number of bullying incidents decreased by two after the implementation.
