Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Guidance and Counseling) -- University of Rizal System-Morong.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study aimed to determine the extent of social background and academic performance of children in selected public elementary schools in Rizal. The study was conducted during the school year 2016-2017 in Morong, Rizal. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 308 respondents. It made use of descriptive method of research design with the use of researchers' made questionnaire-checklist which is the major instrument for gathering data. Frequency, percentage, rank distribution, ANOVA and Pearson-r.
