Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Mathematics major in Computer Science) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The study aimed to develop Mathricks: A Mathematical tutorial for grade 6. This was conducted at Laboratory School of University of Rizal System Morong during the academic year 2017-2018. The researchers used the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as the program developing software, Adobe Photoshop for editing, Adobe Flash for animation and Database Access from Microsoft as the storage of data. The researchers conducted an evaluation of the program, where fifty (50) respondents were chosen. The respondents were (40) forty Grade 6 students of University of Rizal System-Laboratory Schools S.Y. 2017-2018 and (20) twenty math teachers to determine the validity of the research. To determine the level of acceptability of the Mathricks: A mathematical tutorial for Grade 6 in terms of accuracy, applicability, user-friendliness, workability, completeness, portability, clarity and modifiability, weighted mean was used and T-test to find the significant difference on the perception of the respondents on the level of acceptability. The result of the Mathricks: A Mathematical tutorial for Grade 6 was very much accepted by the math teacher with the computed weighted mean of 4.71 and very much accepted to the pupils with a weighted mean of 4.67. On the other hand, it was statistically found out that there is no significant difference on the level of acceptability of Mathricks: A Mathematical tutorial for grade 6 as perceived by two groups of respondents in terms of Accuracy, Applicability, User-Friendliness, Workability, Completeness, Portability, Clarity and Modifiability. Based on the summary of findings and conclusions, recommendations were drawn. The developed program may be useful to the students in learning more about the selected topics in Math of life and at the same time enjoying using computer games that the researchers developed. The developed program is recommended as motivational tool to enhance learning and to have fun at the same time so that the students enjoy learning their lesson. Follow-up study may be conducted for further enhancement of the Mathricks: a Mathematical tutorial for Grade 6 for the developed program to be more effective.
