Dissertation note: Thesis (Bachelor of Science in Biology) -- University of Rizal System-Morong. Summary: EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: This study determined the different angiosperm plants present at Mount Tagapo. The study was conducted at University of Rizal System, Morong Campus during the school year 2016-2017. This study was conducted to identify the present conservation status of different angiosperm plants in Mount Tagapo and also to classify them according to their taxonomic classification. The subject of the study focused mainly on the different angiosperm plants present in Mount Tagapo. The researchers considered the standard of International union of Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to determine the status of the plants as to threatened, Near threatened, Vulnerable, Economically important species, least concerned and data deficient. The study also take into account the endemicity of different angiosperm plants as to introduced, indigenous endemic and pantropic species in distribution. In determining the plant species, walk and transect were used throughout Mount Tagapo while determination of the diversity and density of different angiosperm plants, simpson index and Shannon-weiner index were used. Based from the result, the study showed that the most angiosperm plants existing in Mount Tagapo are Trees and most of them are medicinal plants. Further study revealed that the indigenous species is the prevailing angiosperm plant species in Mount Tagapo. Also, Least Concerned species of plants is present aling Mount Tagapo based from the international Union of Conservation of Nature database. Moreover, the calculated simpson index of 0.988281 showed that there is less diversity because the value is near to .1. Whereas, the calculated Shannon-Weiner index is 5.5724 and verbally interpreted as evenly distribute, that is, angiosperm plants found in Mount Tagapo, Binangonan and Cardona side were said to be uniform and identical. Hence, it is recommended that the propagation of endemic, near threatened and vulnerable species be done. Also, conduct a more comprehensive and specific study about the vegetation analysis, ethnobotany and ethnopharmacology of the said place.
